Ineligible Roles: None. All roles can access these steps.
RSVP capabilities must first be enabled before you are able to require RSVP for any event. Please contact your University Success partner to enable this function.
Managing RSVP for an Event
1. Navigate to the Activities tab on the left-side toolbar on your homepage.
2. Once in the Activities tab, locate the activity in question by using the Search Bar or scrolling down the activity list.
3. Once you have located the needed activity, click the three vertical ellipses in the top right-hand corner of the activity and select 'Edit Activity'.
4. Once you are in the activity details, move through the details until you reach the Date tab. Within the Date section, you will see the 'RSVP and capacity limit' towards the bottom half of the page. If you would like to require RSVP for an event, ensure that 'Allow RSVP" is turned on to 'yes'.
3. If you would like to set an attendance capacity limit for the activity, ensure the 'Attendance capacity limit' is turned on to 'yes'. You will then set an attendance capacity limit. Please note this number must be equal to or greater than the number of students currently RSVP'd to the event (if applicable).
Note: While this article walks you through how to enable RSVP functionality for an existing activity/event, you can also enable RSVP when creating a new event which is located in the 'Date' tab of the activity details.
