This guide will walk you through the process of removing a student organization from a Fund Account. This action will transfer any remaining money in the organization's Spend Account back to the parent Fund's account.

Access Level: Student Org Admin, Administrator
This article is intended for users with Student Org Admin or Administrator access in Suitable. If you don’t have one of these roles, some of the steps outlined below may not be available in your account.
- Ineligible Roles: Student
- This is an administrative function and is not available to student users. It is only available for users with Org Admin or Student Org Admin permissions.
You can perform this action from the Fund Landing Page or directly in the Fund Account details page.
Option 1: Removing an Organization from the Fund Landing Page
Step 1. Navigate to Finance from the main left-hand navigation menu.
Step 2. Find the Fund Account that contains the student organization you wish to remove.
In this example, we will be using the 'Student Life - Organizations' Fund
Step 3. Select the downward cursor of the Fund Account to see the list of Spend Accounts.

Step 4. In the list of Spend Accounts, locate the student organization you want to remove. Click the three-dot menu to the right of its name.
- In this example, we will be using the 'The A Team'
Step 5. Select "Remove Organization" from the three-dot menu.

Step 6. A confirmation modal will appear, outlining the action:
The modal will explain that any remaining funds in the organization’s spend account will be returned to the fund account.
To proceed, click the "Confirm" button.
Step 7. Once you confirm, the student organization's Spend Account will be removed from the Fund Account, and all funds will be transferred.

Option 2: Remove Organization from the Fund Account
Step 1. Navigate to Finance from the main left-hand navigation menu.
Step 2. Select to the Fund Account that contains the student organization you wish to remove.
In this example, we will be using the 'Student Life - Organizations' Fund

Step 3. Navigate to the Accounts section of the Fund details.
Step 4. In the list of Spend Accounts, locate the student organization you want to remove. Click the three-dot menu to the right of its name.
- In this example, we will be using the 'Cat Club'
Step 5. Select "Remove Organization" from the three-dot menu.

Step 6. A confirmation modal will appear, outlining the action:
The modal will explain that any remaining funds in the organization’s spend account will be returned to the fund account.
To proceed, click the "Confirm" button.
Step 7. Once you confirm, the student organization's Spend Account will be removed from the Fund Account, and all funds will be transferred.
