Making a Transfer from a Fund to an Organization's Spend Account

Keep in mind...

• Access Level: Student Org Admin, Org Admin
• This article is intended for users with Student Org Admin or Org Admin access in Suitable. If you don’t have one of these roles, some of the steps outlined below may not be available in your account.
• Ineligible Roles: Member, Leader, Manager
• Please Note these steps allow you to transfer from the Fund to a Spend Account/Organization within the selected Fund.

Step 1. Navigate to Finance from the main left-hand navigation menu.

Step 2. From the Fund Landing Page, click on the Root Fund.

• In this example, we will be using the 'Main Campus' Fund

Step 3. At the Main Campus Fund landing page select 'Transfer' in the top right corner of the Fund Control Panel.

Step 4: In the modal that appears, select the group in the account you want to transfer from, and select Next.

• Please Note this step allows you to either transfer the amount to other funds at the same level or move the fund to organizations within the selected fund.
• In this example, we want to transfer to a Spend Account

Step 5. In the next module that appears, select the Spend Account and select Next.

• In this example, we are selecting the Chess Club

Step 6. In the next modal that appears, fill in the amount to transfer with the desired amount, and select Next.

• In this example, we will be transferring $1000

Step 7. The next modal that appears will explain all the transfer details. 

• Fill in the Memo (optional)
• You can see the Main Campus Fund's new balance is $56,000.
• Select Complete Transfer

• Upon successful transfer, you will see a "Great success!" modal. 

• You can view the transfer in the Main Campus Fund in the Transactions below. As well as the new balance of $56,000.
