Did you attend an event recently, but you didn't get Suitable credit for attending? Follow these troubleshooting steps below to work through what could have happened:
1. Did you scan the QR code at the event? For most events in Suitable, a QR code will be made available for you to scan with your mobile device, where you will automatically receive credit. If your phone wasn't working or if the QR code wasn't made available, then you may not have received credit for the event.
2. Does the description of the activity say that 'credit will be uploaded'? Sometimes, a QR code just isn't feasible for an event, so the host of the event will take attendance and upload attendance after the event is over. If this is the case, you may need to wait a few days before receiving credit.
3. Did you scan the QR code using the Suitable app or your mobile device's camera? If you scanned the QR code using your mobile device's camera and weren't signed into the Suitable app, then you likely didn't receive credit for the event. In the Suitable app, there is a QR code scanner available in the bottom toolbar that you should utilize to ensure you receive points for each event you attend.
4. Was the event added into Suitable as an event, or a task? Sometimes, you may be required to do a reflection or write a paper for an event that you attended. In this case, a QR code wouldn't be available at the event, and instead you would complete the validation for the event after attending. You can find this information by searching for the name of the event in the Activities list, and tapping or clicking on the activity once it comes up.
