Understanding the Career Readiness Report

Keep in mind...

• The Career Readiness Report is exclusive to NACE Ready partners.
• The Career Readiness Report is only accessible once an Observer Assessment has been completed.
• To learn how to navigate to the Career Readiness Report as an Administrator, review this article. To learn how to navigate to the Report as a Student, review this article.
• Be sure to create separate groups to track progress, such as pre- and post-assessments. Note that surveys completed in different form groups will not be combined.

Report Breakdown

• At the top of the report is a "Last Updated" date, which updates each time there is a change to the report, such as additional Observer Assessment responses or an updated Student Assessment.
• The 'Share' link will be accessible to anyone with the link, similar to the Scorecard.
• The Observer Carousel allows users to flip through Observers to get more information about who the Observer was, their information, when the assessment was completed, and what type of experience the assessment was completed for.

Score Calculation

Overall Career Readiness Score

The overall rating at the top of the report is the average of all ratings given on the assessment across the NACE competencies.

Competency Rating

Each competency rating is the average rating given for all dimensions within that particular competency, with the dimensions being expressed under the 'Behavioral Ratings'.

Individual Dimension/Behavior Rating

• Each individual dimension, or behavioral, rating is the average rating given for that dimension. A dimension corresponds with a question on the assessment.
• If multiple Observers have provided their assessment, then the Observer Rating is the average rating across all Observer Assessments.
• Skipped questions, or dimensions that were not given a rating, are not factored into the average calculation.
